Metallica To Headline French Festival

Metallica Wins Prize At Danish Metal Awards

Metallica won the prize for "best international metal album of the year" at the Danish Metal Awards which took place this Saturday (November 15th).

All Nightmare Long To Be Released As Single

December 15th will be the release date of the next Metallica single. This single will feature All Nightmare Long as well as the video for the song. There will also be a special 3 CD collectors edition that will feature unreleased live stuff.

Additional Copenhagen Show Added

Metallica has added a fifth show in Copenhagen. This will take place July 28th. Tickets can be bought at www.billetlugen.dk.

Master Of Puppets Original Artwork Up For Auction

Special Metallica Show In San Francisco

Last Friday (October 17th) Metallica did a special show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA. This was a small show with just 1200 persons in the audience. The show was only open for contest winners and famlly and friends. The following songs were played:

Metallica Support Bands Announced

The Sword will be the support band at the Metallica shows in Stockholm, Sweden in March.
During the summer shows support will come from Lamb Of God and Mastodon.

Spanish Metallica Show Added

A show in Madrid, Spain has been added. This will happen July 13th at Palacio De Deportes.

More Summer Dates Announced

Metallica will do the following summer shows in the Nordic region:

Swedish Metallica Spring Dates Official

As mentioned here on Metallicatoday earlier, Metallica will play in Stockholm, Sweden March 7th and 8th. These shows have now been made official. The tickets will be released Monday October 20th at 9 AM Swedish time at www.ticnet.se.

Metallica Italian Summer Dates Announced

Metallica will play in Italy in June 2009. The dates are the following:

June 22nd: Datch Forum, Milan
June 23rd: Palalottomatica, Rome

As mentioned here before, there will also be European spring dates.

European Metallica Tour Announced Tomorrow

Tomorrow (October 15th) is the day when the European tour will be announced.

First Metallica European Summer Dates Announced
