On Tuesday Metallica's North American indoor tour started in Glendale, AZ. The following songs were played:

Special Metallica Show In San Francisco

Last Friday (October 17th) Metallica did a special show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA. This was a small show with just 1200 persons in the audience. The show was only open for contest winners and famlly and friends. The following songs were played:

Metallica Support Bands Announced

The Sword will be the support band at the Metallica shows in Stockholm, Sweden in March.
During the summer shows support will come from Lamb Of God and Mastodon.

Spanish Metallica Show Added

A show in Madrid, Spain has been added. This will happen July 13th at Palacio De Deportes.

More Summer Dates Announced

Metallica will do the following summer shows in the Nordic region:

June 14th: Helsinki
June 15th: Helsinki

June 17th: Oslo

July 20th: Copenhagen
July 22nd: Copenhagen
July 23rd: Copenhagen

Swedish Metallica Spring Dates Official

As mentioned here on Metallicatoday earlier, Metallica will play in Stockholm, Sweden March 7th and 8th. These shows have now been made official. The tickets will be released Monday October 20th at 9 AM Swedish time at www.ticnet.se.

Metallica Italian Summer Dates Announced

Metallica will play in Italy in June 2009. The dates are the following:

June 22nd: Datch Forum, Milan
June 23rd: Palalottomatica, Rome

As mentioned here before, there will also be European spring dates.

European Metallica Tour Announced Tomorrow

Tomorrow (October 15th) is the day when the European tour will be announced.

First Metallica European Summer Dates Announced

Announcement Of European Tour Postponed

The announcement of next year's European tour has postponed to next Thursday (October 16th).

Lars Ulrich Says Upcoming Tour Will Feature Many Death Magnetic Songs

No Spring Shows In Denmark

As mentioned here before, the announcement regarding the European tour will come during this week. It has now been clear that no shows in Denmark will happen in the spring.
As everything looks now, there will be another leg of European shows in July.

For the third week in a row, Death Magnetic tops the Billboard album charts. The sales are now up to 959 000 in the US alone.

First European Metallica Dates Confirmed
